Zenix Home Page

Zenix is a Debian remix with several goals:

• Lightweight, but not frugal- Zenix uses as little as 60 mb of RAM but includes applications such as VLC, icecat, midori, audacious, bluefish, gedit, and xchat.
  
  
• Security - Zenix includes an active firewall (iptables configured with GUFW), psad, and fwsnort.
  
  
• Compatibility - Zenix uses the standard Debian repositories.
  
  
• Community - We would like to continue the tradition of a Linux "Buddhist Edition". This is achieved primarily via themes and the inclusion of Buddhist links on the Zenix Website. The Buddhist content is "soft" and for non-Buddhists should be non-intrusive.
